Therefore whoever resists authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.


Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds.


It is not everyone, however, who has this knowledge. Since some have become so accustomed to idols until now, they still think of the food they eat as food offered to an idol, and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.


To the pure all things are pure, but to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure; their very minds and consciences are corrupted.


And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would approach God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
