Who can open the doors of its face? There is terror all around its teeth.


Break the arm of the wicked and evildoers; seek out their wickedness until you find none.


They are like a lion eager to tear, like a young lion lurking in ambush.


Rise up, O Lord! Deliver me, O my God! For you strike all my enemies on the cheek; you break the teeth of the wicked.


You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

Look, a people rising up like a lioness and rousing itself like a lion! It does not lie down until it has eaten the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.”
