That very night the angel of the Lord set out and struck down one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians; when morning dawned, they were all dead bodies.

Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”


For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.


You shall not abuse any widow or orphan.


If you take your neighbor’s cloak as guarantee, you shall restore it before the sun goes down,

Are not all angels spirits in the divine service, sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?
