Therefore you are great, O Lord God, for there is no one like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.


For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; he is to be revered above all gods.


After I looked these things over, I stood up and said to the nobles and the officials and the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your kin, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your households.”

Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, doing wonders?

For this time I will send all my plagues upon you yourself, your officials, and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like me in all the earth.


Shout aloud and sing for joy, O royal Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”


To whom, then, will you liken God, or what likeness compare with him?


To whom, then, will you compare me, or who is my equal? says the Holy One.


To whom will you liken me and make me equal and compare me, as though we were alike?


remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like me,


The portion of Jacob is not like these, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the Lord of hosts is his name.


You show steadfast love to the thousandth generation but repay the guilt of parents into the laps of their children after them, O great and mighty God whose name is the Lord of hosts,


How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his sovereignty is from generation to generation.
