Not like these is the portion of Jacob, for he is the one who formed all things, and Israel is the tribe of his inheritance; the Lord of hosts is his name.


It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.


The Lord is my portion; I promise to keep your words.

Our Redeemer—the Lord of hosts is his name— is the Holy One of Israel.


The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.


I cry to you, O Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.”


There is none like you, O Lord; you are great, and your name is great in might.


Thus says the Lord who makes it, the Lord who forms it to establish it—the Lord is his name:


For the one who forms the mountains, creates the wind, reveals his thoughts to mortals, makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord, the God of hosts, is his name!


The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.


He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, my Lord, I pray, let my Lord go with us. Although this is a stiff-necked people, pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”


By the word of the Lord the heavens were made and all their host by the breath of his mouth.


whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people and Assyria the work of my hands and Israel my heritage.”


As I live, says the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts, one is coming like Tabor among the mountains and like Carmel by the sea.
