But the scripture has imprisoned all things under the power of sin, so that what was promised through the faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.


Just as Abraham “believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,”


All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,


You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.


For it stands in scripture: “See, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”
