So God created humans in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.


God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”


The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and keep it.


Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; this one shall be called Woman, for out of Man this one was taken.”


When Adam had lived one hundred thirty years, he became the father of a son in his likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth.


Did God not make them one, flesh with spirit in it? And what does the one desire? Godly offspring. So look to yourselves, and do not let anyone be faithless to the wife of his youth.
