From oaks of Bashan they made your oars; they made your deck of pines from the coasts of Cyprus, inlaid with ivory.


Of fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail, serving as your ensign; blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your awning.


For ships of Kittim shall come against him, and he shall lose heart and withdraw. He shall be enraged and take action against the holy covenant. He shall turn back and come to an understanding with those who forsake the holy covenant.


But ships shall come from Kittim and shall afflict Asshur and Eber, and he also shall perish forever.”
