When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the temple tax came to Peter and said, "Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?"
so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
"The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,
And they were going into Capernaum. And immediately on the Sabbath, He entered the synagogue and began teaching.
And He entered again into Capernaum after [some] days, and it was heard that He was in a certain house.
And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.
He said to them, "You will surely say this proverb to Me, 'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your hometown.' "
After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and there they remained not many days.
Then Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum.
and having entered into the boat, they were going across the sea to Capernaum. And darkness had already come, and Jesus had not come to them.
when the crowd therefore saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they got into boats and came to Capernaum, seeking Jesus.
