Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, "He has blasphemed! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His blasphemy!


And at once some of the scribes said among themselves, "This Man blasphemes!"


You have heard the blasphemy! How does it appear to you?"And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.


And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,


And immediately, when Jesus recognized in His spirit that they were reasoning thus among themselves, He said to them, "Why are you reasoning these things in your hearts?


And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this [Man ]who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins except God alone?"


And those who were reclining at the table with Him began to say within themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"


The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God."


do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'?
