Blessed be the Lord the God of Israel, who hath accomplished in deed that which he spoke to David my father, saying:


7 And all Israel, in the days of Zorobabel, and in the days of Nehemias gave portions to the singing men, and to the porters, day by day, and they sanctified the Levites, and the Levites sanctified the sons of Aaron.


Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine: and Ephraim is the strength of my head. Juda is my king:


0 But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy.


3 And they came into Mara, and they could not drink the waters of Mara, because they were bitter: whereupon he gave a name also agreeable to the place, calling it Mara, that is, bitterness.


4 And he saith to them: My soul is sorrowful even unto death; stay you here, and watch.


8 So also ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself.


5 For he that doth wrong, shall receive for that which he hath done wrongfully: and there is no respect of persons with God.


According to the foreknowledge of God the Father, unto the sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you and peace be multiplied.
