1 And Mathathias, and Eliphalu, and Macenias and Obededom, and Jehiel and Ozaziu, sung a song of victory for the octave upon harps.


4 And Sebenias, and Josaphat, and Nathanael, and Amasai, and Zacharias, and Banaias, and Eliezer the priests, sounded with trumpets, before the ark of God: and Obededom and Jehias were porters of the ark.


9 And when the ark of the covenant of the Lord was come to the city of David, Michol the daughter of Saul looking out at a window, saw king David dancing and playing, and she despised him in her heart.


Go, and speak to David my servant: Thus saith the Lord: Thou shalt not build me a house to dwell in.


1 Seek ye the Lord, and his power: seek ye his face evermore.


All these under their father's hand were distributed to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals, and psalteries and harps, for the service of the house of the Lord near the king: to wit, Asaph, and Idithun, and Heman.


7 And Abia and his people slew them with a great slaughter, and there fell wounded of Israel five hundred thousand valiant men.


9 And Abia pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel and her daughters, and Jesana with her daughters, Ephron also and her daughters.


To provide me timber in abundance. For the house which I desire to build, is to be exceeding great, and glorious.


And the king turned his face, and blessed all the multitude of Israel (for all the multitude stood attentive) and he said:

Praise ye the Lord in his holy places: praise ye him in the firmament of his power.

and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.


4 Nun. Thy prophets have seen false and foolish things for thee: and they have not laid open thy iniquity, to excite thee to penance: but they have seen for thee false revelations and banishments.


And as for Ninive, her waters are like a great pool, but the men flee away. They cry: Stand, stand, but there is none that will return back.


But when thou offerest a holocaust or sacrifice of oxen, to fulfil thy vow or for victims of peace offerings,


6 And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, shall be the phase of the Lord,


0 Thou shalt follow justly after that which is just: that thou mayst live and possess the land, which the Lord thy God shall give thee.


Mind the things that are above, not the things that are upon the earth.
