55 Salvation is far from sinners; because they have not sought thy justifications.
2 I rose at midnight to give praise to thee; for the judgments of thy justification.
4 I have been delighted in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
For thou art he that hast drawn me out of the womb: my hope from the breasts of my mother.
And I will go in to the altar of God : to God who giveth joy to my youth. To thee, O God my God, I will give praise upon the harp :
Thou hast protected me from the assembly of the malignant; from the multitude of the workers of iniquity.
8 But it is good for me to adhere to my God, to put my hope in the Lord God: That I may declare all thy praises, in the gates of the daughter of Sion.
Lift up thy hands against their pride unto the end; see what things the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
Or will God forget to shew mercy? or will he in his anger shut up his mercies?
3 Thy way, O God, is in the holy place: who is the great God like our God?
7 As a woman with child, when she draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs: so are we become in thy presence, O Lord.
