5 Be at agreement with thy adversary betimes, whilst thou art in the way with him: lest perhaps the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.


Thus therefore shall you pray: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.


8 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into his harvest.


7 And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.

And he commanded them that they should take nothing for the way, but a staff only: no scrip, no bread, nor money in their purse,

8 For he that shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation: the Son of man also will be ashamed of him, when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

2 And he said to his disciples: The days will come, when you shall desire to see one day of the Son of man; and you shall not see it.

And Simon answering said to him: Master, we have labored all the night, and have taken nothing: but at thy word I will let down the net.

By some, that John was risen from the dead: but by other some, that Elias had appeared; and by others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.


9 And whilst he prayed, the shape of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became white and glittering.


And a great multitude followed him, because they saw the miracles which he did on them that were diseased.


6 And behold, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing to him. Have the rulers known for a truth, that this is the Christ?
