1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


4 Cursed is the deceitful man that hath in his flock a male, and making a vow offereth in sacrifice that which is feeble to the Lord: for I am a great King, saith the Lord of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the Gentiles.


6 He could not bring the people into the land for which he had sworn, therefore did he kill them in the wilderness.


And said to all the multitude of the children of Israel: The land which we have gone round is very good:


6 And he said to Core: Do thou and thy congregation stand apart before the Lord to morrow, and Aaron apart.


And blessed is he that shall not be scandalized in me.

5 And if thy foot scandalize thee, cut it off. It is better for thee to enter lame into life everlasting, than having two feet, to be cast into the hell of unquenchable fire:

3 But he who was of the bondwoman, was born according to the flesh: but he of the free woman, was by promise.


7 Then we who are alive, who are left, shall be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet Christ, into the air, and so shall we be always with the Lord.
