VERSES ABOUT JOY

Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.

This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.

Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.

Prayer

Eternal and good God, Most High! I praise you for your righteousness, holiness, and worthiness of all supreme praise and adoration. Good Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for the true joy I can experience in every season of my life, thanks to your Holy Spirit. As my day unfolds, I ask that you help me remember your love and promises, for they are the wellspring of all my joy. Lord Jesus, help me to keep a grateful heart, always, for everything. May your joy remain in me, even in the toughest times, because I know that every circumstance holds a valuable purpose, a unique lesson, and an opportunity for growth. Your word says, "Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart." Lord, guide me now in your presence, so I may receive your peace until it overflows, enough to be a blessing to those around me. Thank you, God, for loving me, caring for me, providing for me, and protecting my family. All glory to you, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
