Think about it: the joy of the Lord doesn't just fill you with strength, it brings us all together. It's a joy that's not meant to be kept to yourself; it needs to be shared. Just like the Israelites were instructed to celebrate and share what they had with each other, you can spread the joy of the Lord with everyone you know.
This joy challenges you to love your neighbor and share the Gospel. When your heart is joyful in God, you are strong and empowered to spread that joy throughout your community. It's a lasting joy, something no one can take away.
Psalm 98:4-6 says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King." You can find so many verses like this that talk about the joy of our God.
You will lead me along the path of life. Because you are with me, I am very happy. I know that I will be with you for ever, and that makes me very happy!
Nehemiah said to the people, ‘Go to your homes and eat some good food. Drink sweet drinks. Share your food and your drink with people who do not have enough for themselves. This is a holy day for our Lord, so do not be sad. The Lord will give you joy so that you can be strong.’

He makes me handsome, like a bridegroom who wears a priest's hat. He makes me beautiful, like a bride who wears her jewels.
Whatever happens, I will continue to thank the Lord. If there are no flowers on the fig trees, if there are no grapes on the vines, if there are no olives on the olive trees, if there are no crops in the fields, if the sheep are dying in the hills, if there are no cows on the farms,I will still sing to thank the Lord! I will be happy because God is the one who makes me safe.
My Christian friends, remember to be happy, even when many kinds of trouble happen to you. Troubles can help you.God wants us to do what is right. But when someone is angry, they do not do those right things.So stop doing disgusting things. Stay away from the wicked things that are all around you. Help them in their troubles. If you serve God our Father like that, he will be pleased with you. Do not let the bad people in this world make you bad too.God wants to see if you really trust him. Your faith in God will become stronger as a result of these troubles.
Because we trust him, we know that God has blessed us in a way that we do not deserve. That makes us strong in our lives. We also are sure that we will share God's glory in heaven. So we are very happy.God gave his Law to Moses to show more clearly that people were doing wrong things. But when people did more and more wrong things, God continued to be kind in more and more ways.We see that sin ruled people's lives and brought death to them. But God's kind gift makes people right with him, and that is what now rules their lives. As a result, they will have life with God for ever, because of what our Lord Jesus Christ has done.We are happy even when we suffer. That is because we know that this helps us to become patient and strong.
You will leave that foreign land with joy! You will travel home with peace in your minds. The mountains and the hills will sing with joy as you travel past. The trees in the fields will clap their hands together!
You righteous people, sing to praise the Lord and be happy! It is right for good, honest people to do that.
The Lord makes me strong. He keeps me safe like a shield. I trust in him completely, and he has helped me. I am very happy, and I will thank him with my songs.
