39 יהושע said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who had died, said to Him, “Master, already he smells, for it is four days.”

Like sheep they shall be laid in She’ol; Death shall shepherd them; And the upright rule over them in the morning; And their form is consumed in She’ol, Far from their dwelling.


A brother does not redeem anyone at all, Neither give to Elohim a ransom for him;


That he should still live forever, And not see the pit.


And they said among themselves, “Who shall roll away the stone from the entrance of the tomb for us?”


Therefore, when יהושע arrived, He found that he had already been four days in the tomb.


For Dawiḏ, indeed, having served his own generation by the counsel of Elohim, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption,”


because You shall not leave my being in She’ol, nor shall You give Your Lovingly-committed One to see corruption.


To the one we are the smell of death to death, and to the other the fragrance of life to life. And who is competent for these?


who shall change our lowly body, to be conformed to His esteemed body, according to the working by which He is able even to bring all under His control.
