And this is the genealogy of Yishma‛ĕl, Aḇraham’s son, whom Haḡar the Mitsrian, Sarah’s female servant, bore to Aḇraham.


And I said, “Ah, Master יהוה! They are saying of me, ‘Is he not speaking parables?’ ”


“Let them follow יהוה. Like a lion He roars. When He roars, then sons shall tremble from the west.


so that what was spoken by the prophet might be filled, saying, “I shall open My mouth in parables, I shall pour forth what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”


For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”


And all these came upon them as examples, and they were written as a warning to us, on whom the ends of the ages have come,


and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed, and the Rock was Messiah.


for this Haḡar is Mount Sinai in Araḇia, and corresponds to Yerushalayim which now is, and is in slavery with her children.


So we also, when we were children, were under the elementary matters of the world, being enslaved.


In the freedom with which Messiah has made us free, stand firm, then, and do not again be held with a yoke of slavery.


And he said, “יהוה came from Sinai, and rose from Sĕ‛ir for them. He shone forth from Mount Paran, and came with ten thousands of set-apart ones – at His right hand a law of fire for them.


reckoning that Elohim was able to raise, even from the dead, from which he received him back, as a type.


and to יהושע the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which speaks better than the blood of Heḇel.


And the Elohim of peace who brought up our Master יהושע from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,


By as much as this יהושע has become a guarantor of a better covenant.
