4 “You have not strengthened the weak, nor have you healed the sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back the straying, nor sought what was lost; but you have ruled them with might and harshness.

Why should you be stricken any more? You continue in apostasy! All the head is sick, and all the heart faints.


he shall swear in that day, saying, “I am not a healer, for in my house is neither bread nor garment; do not make me a chief of the people.”


His watchmen are blind, all of them, they have not known. All of them are dumb dogs, unable to bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber.


“Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness and his rooms without right-ruling, who uses his neighbour’s service without wages and does not give him his wages,

“I shall seek out the lost and bring back the strayed. And I shall bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick, but the fat and the strong I shall destroy. I shall feed them with right-ruling.”


‘Do not rule over him with harshness, but you shall fear your Elohim.


but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕl.


“And the farmers took his servants and beat one, and they killed one, and they stoned another.


and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards,


And having seen the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, as sheep having no shepherd.


Not that we rule over your belief, but we are fellow workers for your joy, for you stand by belief.


So, strengthen the hands which hang down and the weak knees,
