And I, I sing of Your power; And in the morning I sing aloud of Your loving-commitment; For You have been my strong tower And a refuge in the day of my distress.

“My Elohim is my rock, I take refuge in Him, My shield and the horn of my deliverance, My high tower and my refuge. My Saviour, You save me from violence.


He wanders about for food – where is it? He knows that a day of darkness is prepared for him.


The Almighty, we have not found Him out, He is exalted in power and right-ruling and great in righteousness – He does not oppress.


I sing of loving-commitment and right-ruling; To You, O יהוה, I sing praises.


But He saved them for His Name’s sake, To make known His might.


Though I walk in the midst of distress, You revive me; You stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand saves me.


Let me hear Your loving-commitment in the morning, For in You I have put my trust; Let me know the way in which I should walk, For I have lifted up my being to You.

For His displeasure is for a moment, His delight is for life; Weeping might last for the night, But joy comes in the morning.


I exult and rejoice in Your loving-commitment, For You have seen my affliction; You have known the distresses of my life,


O יהוה, Your loving-commitment is in the heavens, And Your trustworthiness reaches to the clouds.


Answer me when I call, O Elohim of my righteousness! You gave relief to me when I was in distress; Show favour to me, and hear my prayer.


Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.


O יהוה, in the morning You hear my voice; I present myself to You in the morning, And I look up.


In the day of my distress I sought יהוה; My hand was stretched out in the night And it did not cease, My being refused to be comforted.


For Your loving-commitment is great toward me, And You have delivered my being From the depths of She’ol.


But I, unto You I have cried, O יהוה, And in the morning my prayer comes before You.


I sing of the loving-commitment of יהוה forever; With my mouth I make known Your trustworthiness To all generations.


“Your right hand, O יהוה, has become great in power. Your right hand, O יהוה, has crushed the enemy.


Oh! For great is that day, there is none like it. And it is the time of Ya‛aqoḇ’s distress, but he shall be saved out of it.


and for the nations to praise Elohim for His compassion, as it has been written, “Because of this I shall confess to You among the nations, and I shall sing to Your Name.”


who rescued us from so great a death, and does rescue, in whom we trust that He shall still rescue us,


And to Him who is able to do exceedingly above what we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us,


who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His reverent fear,


And Dawiḏ said, “יהוה, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He does deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Sha’ul said to Dawiḏ, “Go, and יהוה be with you!”
