While He was saying all this to them, see, a ruler came and bowed down to Him, saying, “My daughter is dead by now, but come and lay Your hand on her and she shall live.”
And see, one of the rulers of the congregation came, Ya’ir by name. And when he saw Him, he fell at His feet,
And coming in He said to them, “Why make this commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is sleeping.”
And having risen up, Kĕpha went with them. And when he arrived, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood beside him weeping, showing the inner garments and outer garments which Dorkas had made while she was with them.
