“And now, the wheat and the barley, the oil and the wine which my master has spoken of, let him send to his servants.
“And let us cut wood from Leḇanon, as much as you need, and bring it to you in rafts by sea to Yapho, and you take it up to Yerushalayim.”
But Yonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה, and went down to Yapho, and found a ship going to Tarshish. And he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה.
And in Yapho there was a certain taught one named Taḇitha, which means Dorkas. This woman was filled with good works and kind deeds which she did.
And Lod being near to Yapho, and the taught ones having heard that Kĕpha was there, they sent two men to him, urging him not to delay in coming to them.
And it became known throughout all Yapho, and many believed on the Master.
And it came to be that he stayed for many days in Yapho with Shim‛on, a leather-tanner.
And the border of the children of Dan went out from them. And the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem and captured it. And they struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt in it, and called it Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
