And all the crowds were amazed and said, “Is this the Son of Dawiḏ?”
“And those on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. And these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of trial fall away.
Therefore many of the Yehuḏim who had come to Miryam, and had seen what יהושע did, believed in Him.
because on account of him many of the Yehuḏim went away and believed in יהושע.
Still, even among the rulers many did believe in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the congregation,
This, the beginning of the signs, יהושע did in Qanah of Galil, and manifested His esteem. And His taught ones believed in Him.
This one came to יהושע by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from Elohim, for no one is able to do these signs You do if Elohim is not with him.”
Come, see a Man who told me all that I have done. Is this not the Messiah?
And many of the Shomeronim of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who witnessed, “He told me all that I have done.”
And a large crowd was following Him, because they saw His signs which He did on those who were sick.
“And see! He speaks boldly, and they say none at all to Him. Could it be that the rulers truly know that this is truly the Messiah?
Therefore some of the Pharisees said, “This Man is not from Elohim, because He does not guard the Sabbath.” Others said, “How is a man who is a sinner able to do such miracles?” And there was a division among them.
And Shim‛on himself also believed. And when he was immersed he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which took place.
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.
