And it came to be when Aḇram was ninety-nine years old, that יהוה appeared to Aḇram and said to him, “I am Ěl Shaddai – walk before Me and be perfect.
Then יהוה went away as soon as He had ended speaking to Aḇraham. And Aḇraham returned to his place.
despised and rejected by men, a man of pains and knowing sickness. And as one from whom the face is hidden, being despised, and we did not consider Him.
“All have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and he to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him.
No one has ever seen Elohim. All came to be through Him, The only brought-forth Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He did declare.
All came to be through Him, and without Him not even one came to be that came to be.
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
“O righteous Father, indeed the world did not know You, but I knew You, and these knew that You sent Me.
though, indeed, He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good – giving us rain from heaven and fruit-bearing seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”
For since, in the wisdom of Elohim, the world through wisdom did not know Elohim, it pleased Elohim through the foolishness of preaching to save those who believe.
which no one of the rulers of this age knew, for if they had known, they would not have impaled the Master of esteem.
for us there is one Elohim, the Father, from whom all came and for whom we live, and one Master יהושע Messiah, through whom all came and through whom we live.
Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities – all have been created through Him and for Him.
By belief, we understand that the ages were prepared by the word of Elohim, so that what is seen was not made of what is visible.
See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of Elohim! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
