And in this mountain יהוה of hosts shall make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of old wines, of choice pieces with marrow, of old wines, well-refined.


“Say to the righteous it is well, for they eat the fruit of their doings.


then you shall delight yourself in יהוה. And I shall cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and feed you with the inheritance of Ya‛aqoḇ your father. For the mouth of יהוה has spoken!”


Therefore thus said the Master יהוה, “See, My servants eat, but you hunger; see, My servants drink, but you thirst; see, My servants rejoice, but you are put to shame;


“You shall also say to this people, ‘Thus said יהוה, “See, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.


Thus said יהוה of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, “Make your ways and your deeds good, then I let you dwell in this place.


“For if you truly make your ways and your deeds good, if you truly do right-ruling between a man and his neighbour,


then I shall let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.


“Then you shall eat – eat and be satisfied – and shall praise the Name of יהוה your Elohim, who has done with you so wondrously. And My people shall never be put to shame.


‘and the land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat to satisfaction, and shall dwell there in safety.


‘If you walk in My laws and guard My commands, and shall do them,


‘And your threshing shall last till the time of the grape harvest, and the grape harvest shall last till the time of sowing. And you shall eat your bread until you have enough, and shall dwell in your land safely.


Then Zerubbaḇel son of She’alti’ĕl, and Yehoshua son of Yehotsaḏaq, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of יהוה their Elohim, and the words of Ḥaggai the prophet, as יהוה their Elohim had sent him. And the people feared the presence of יהוה.


“And it shall be, if you diligently obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard to do all His commands which I command you today, that יהוה your Elohim shall set you high above all nations of the earth.


And having been perfected, He became the Causer of everlasting deliverance to all those obeying Him,
