The chariots of Elohim are twenty thousand, Thousands of thousands; יהוה came from Sinai Into the Set-apart Place.
The meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, and the wrath of יהוה burned against the people, and יהוה struck the people with an exceeding great plague.
And those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died on account of Qoraḥ.
And יהוה sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people. And many of the people of Yisra’ĕl died.
who received the Torah as it was ordained by messengers, but did not watch over it.”
Why, then, the Torah? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come to whom the promise was made. And it was ordained through messengers in the hand of a mediator.
“And the man who acts arrogantly, so as not to listen to the priest who stands to serve there before יהוה your Elohim, or to the judge, that man shall die. So you shall purge the evil from Yisra’ĕl.
“When there is found in your midst, in any of your cities which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, a man or a woman who does what is evil in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim, in transgressing His covenant,
then you shall bring out to your gates that man or woman who has done this evil matter, and you shall stone to death that man or woman with stones.
Cursed is he who does not establish the Words of this Torah.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amĕn!’
“Let my instruction fall as rain, My speech drop down as dew, As fine rain on the tender plants, And as showers on the grass.
Elohim, having of old spoken in many portions and many ways to the fathers by the prophets,
Anyone who has disregarded the Torah of Mosheh dies without compassion on the witness of two or three witnesses.
deeming the reproach of Messiah greater riches than the treasures in Mitsrayim, for he was looking to the reward.
But without belief it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to Elohim has to believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him.
Take heed not to refuse the One speaking. For if those did not escape who refused the warning on earth, much less we who turn away from Him from heaven,
And we have the prophetic word made more certain, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts,
But I intend to remind you, though you once knew this, that יהוה, having saved a people out of the land of Mitsrayim, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
