“But he said to me, ‘יהוה, before whom I walk, sends His messenger with you and shall prosper your way. And you shall take a wife for my son from my relatives and from my father’s house.


And he returned to his brothers and said, “The boy is gone! And I, where am I to go?”


And Ya‛aqoḇ their father said to them, “You have bereaved me – Yosĕph is no more, and Shim‛on is no more, and you would take Binyamin! All this is against me.”


And after he brought forth Methushelaḥ, Ḥanoḵ walked with Elohim three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters.


So all the days of Ḥanoḵ were three hundred and sixty-five years.


And Methushelaḥ lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and brought forth Lemeḵ.


This is the genealogy of Noaḥ. Noaḥ was a righteous man, perfect in his generations. Noaḥ walked with Elohim.


And it came to be, when יהוה was to take up Ěliyahu to the heavens by a whirlwind, that Ěliyahu went with Elisha from Gilgal.


And he said, “You have made it hard to ask, yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it is yours; but if not, it is not.”


And it came to be, as they continued on and spoke, that see, a chariot of fire with horses of fire which separated the two of them. And Ěliyahu went up by a whirlwind into the heavens.


And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Yisra’ĕl and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garments and tore them into two pieces.


But Elohim does redeem my being From the power of She’ol, For He does receive me. Selah.


You lead me by Your counsel, And afterward receive me unto esteem.


Thus said יהוה, “A voice was heard in Ramah, wailing, bitter weeping, Raḥĕl weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.”

And יהושע said to him, “Truly, I say to you today, you shall be with Me in paradise.”


But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of יהושע Messiah His Son cleanses us from all sin.


And Ḥanoḵ, the seventh from Aḏam, also prophesied of these, saying, “See, יהוה comes with His myriads of set-apart ones,
