All the people who were left of the Amorites, the Ḥittites, the Perizzites, the Ḥiwwites, and the Yeḇusites, who were not of the children of Yisra’ĕl –

All the people who were left of the Amorites, the Ḥittites, the Perizzites, the Ḥiwwites, and the Yeḇusites, who were not of the children of Yisra’ĕl –
their descendants who were left in the land after them, whom the children of Yisra’ĕl had not been able to destroy completely – from these Shelomoh raised compulsory labour, as it is to this day.
And the first inhabitants who were in their possessions in their cities of Yisra’ĕl, were the priests, the Lĕwites, and the Nethinim.
sons of Shephatyah, sons of Ḥattil, sons of Poḵereth of Tseḇayim, sons of Ami.
And these were those who came up from Tĕl Melaḥ, Tĕl Ḥarsha, Kerub, Addan, Immĕr; but they were unable to show their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Yisra’ĕl:
And some of the children of Yisra’ĕl, and the priests, and the Lĕwites, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim came up to Yerushalayim in the seventh year of Sovereign Artaḥshashta.
Now the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel as far as opposite the Water Gate toward the east, and on the projecting tower.
All the Nethinim, and the sons of Shelomoh’s servants, were three hundred and ninety-two.
I bought male and female servants, and I came to have sons of the household. Also, I had greater possessions of herds and flocks than all who were before me in Yerushalayim.
And the rulers said to them, “Let them live, but let them be woodcutters and drawers of water for all the congregation, as the rulers had promised them.”
“And now you are cursed, and you shall not cease from being slaves, and woodcutters and drawers of water for the House of my Elohim.”
And that day Yehoshua made them woodcutters and drawers of water for the congregation and for the slaughter-place of יהוה, even to this day, at the place that He should choose.
