And the children of Amram: Aharon, and Mosheh, and Miryam. And the sons of Aharon: Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu, El‛azar and Ithamar.
And all those who were descendants of Ya‛aqoḇ were seventy beings, as Yosĕph was already in Mitsrayim.
And יהוה came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And יהוה called Mosheh to the top of the mountain, and Mosheh went up.
And יהוה said to him, “Come, go down and then come up, you and Aharon with you. But do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to יהוה, lest He break out against them.”
And יהוה said to Mosheh, “See, I am coming to you in the thick cloud, so that the people hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” And Mosheh reported the words of the people to יהוה.
So the people stood at a distance, but Mosheh drew near the thick darkness where Elohim was.
And Mosheh went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.
But Mosheh shall draw near to יהוה by himself, and let them not draw near, nor let the people go up with him.
And Mosheh went up, also Aharon, Naḏaḇ, and Aḇihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra’ĕl,
“And you, bring near Aharon your brother and his sons with him, from among the children of Yisra’ĕl, for serving as priest to Me: Aharon, Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu, El‛azar and Ithamar, the sons of Aharon.
And He said, “Do not come near here. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place on which you are standing is set-apart ground.”
“And be ready in the morning. Then you shall come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain.
Aharon took to himself Elisheḇa, daughter of Amminaḏaḇ, sister of Naḥshon, as wife. And she bore him Naḏaḇ, and Aḇihu, El‛azar, and Ithamar.
And facing them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl, and in their midst stood Ya‛azanyahu son of Shaphan. Each one had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.
Then יהוה said to Mosheh, “Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Yisra’ĕl, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them. And bring them to the Tent of Appointment, and let them stand there with you.
And after this the Master appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of Him into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Master, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.”
“And I took the heads of your tribes, wise men and known, and made them heads over you, leaders of thousands, and leaders of hundreds, and leaders of fifties, and leaders of tens, and officers for your tribes.
