And Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said, “Get up, get out of this place, for יהוה is going to destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be as one joking.
But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a post of salt.
For he shall not know ease in his innermost, neither save what he desires.
Such are the ways of everyone greedy for gain; It takes away the life of its owners.
“For the turning away of the simple kills them, And the complacency of fools destroys them.
Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.
