And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of the Yardĕn, that it was well watered everywhere – before יהוה destroyed Seḏom and Amorah – like the garden of יהוה, like the land of Mitsrayim as you go toward Tso‛ar.
All these joined together in the Valley of Siddim, that is the Salt Sea.
He restored the border of Yisra’ĕl from the entrance of Ḥamath to the Sea of the Araḇah, according to the word of יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, which He had spoken through His servant Yonah son of Amittai, the prophet who was from Gath Ḥĕpher.
And he said to me, “These waters are flowing toward the eastern country, and go down into the Araḇah, and enter the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters shall be healed.
And he took him to the field of Tsophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven slaughter-places, and offered a bull and a ram on each slaughter-place.
And it came to be, while the crowd was pressing upon Him to hear the word of Elohim, that He stood by the Lake of Gennĕsar,
and all the desert plain beyond the Yardĕn as far as the Sea of the Araḇah, below the slopes of Pisgah.
and the desert plain from the Sea of Kinneroth eastward as far as the Sea of the Araḇah, the Salt Sea, the way to Bĕyth Yeshimoth, and southward below the slopes of Pisgah,
and in the valley Bĕyth Haram, and Bĕyth Nimrah, and Sukkoth, and Tsaphon, the rest of the reign of Siḥon sovereign of Ḥeshbon, the Yardĕn being its border, as far as the edge of the Sea of Kinnereth, beyond the Yardĕn eastward.
And their southern border began at the edge of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward.
And the east border was the Salt Sea as far as the end of the Yardĕn. And the border on the northern quarter began at the bay of the sea at the end of the Yardĕn.
And the border passed over to the side of Bĕyth Ḥoḡlah northward, and the border ended at the north bay at the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Yardĕn. This was the southern boundary,
And the cities of defence were Tsiddim, Tsĕr, and Ḥammath, Raqqath, and Kinnereth,
that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Aḏam, the city that is beside Tsarethan. And the waters going down into the Sea of the Araḇah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. And the people passed over opposite Yeriḥo.
