But Elohim does redeem my being From the power of She’ol, For He does receive me. Selah.


For Your loving-commitment is great toward me, And You have delivered my being From the depths of She’ol.


Then You spoke in a vision to Your lovingly-committed one, And You said, “I have given help to one who is mighty, I have exalted one chosen from the people.


“I went down to the base of the mountains, the earth with its bars were behind me forever. But You brought up my life from the pit, O יהוה, my Elohim.


“And you, Kephar Naḥum, who were exalted to the heaven, shall be brought down to She’ol! Because if the miracles which were done in you had been done in Seḏom, it would have remained until this day.


saying, “Ha! What have we to do with You, יהושע of Natsareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are: the Set-apart One of Elohim!”


And the messenger answering, said to her, “The Set-apart Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you. And for that reason the Set-apart One born of you shall be called: Son of Elohim.


“And while suffering tortures in She’ol, having lifted up his eyes, he saw Aḇraham far away, and El‛azar in his bosom.


And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Tehillim concerning Me.”


saying, “Ha! What have we to do with You, יהושע of Natsareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know You, who You are, the Set-apart One of Elohim!”


יהושע said, “Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who had died, said to Him, “Master, already he smells, for it is four days.”


‘For this reason my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad, and now my flesh shall also rest in expectation,


‘You have made known to me the ways of life, You shall fill me with joy in Your presence.’


foreseeing this he spoke concerning the resurrection of the Messiah, that His being was neither left in She’ol, nor did His flesh see corruption.


“But you denied the Set-apart and Righteous One, and asked that a man, a murderer, be granted you.


“For truly, in this city there were gathered together against Your set-apart Servant יהושע, whom You anointed, both Herodes and Pontius Pilate, with the nations and the people of Yisra’ĕl


in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.


“O Death, where is your sting? O She’ol, where is your overcoming?”


And you have an anointing from the Set-apart One, and you know all.


and the living One. And I became dead, and see, I am living forever and ever. Amĕn. And I possess the keys of She’ol and of Death.


And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and She’ol gave up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
