Better is a hand filled with rest than both hands filled with toil and feeding on wind.
Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labour, working with his hands what is good, so that he has somewhat to share with those in need.
For the rest then, brothers, we beg you and call upon you in the Master יהושע, that as you received from us how you should walk and to please Elohim, you should excel still more,
and to make it your ambition to live peaceably, and to attend to your own, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you,
nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but worked with labour and toil night and day, in order not to burden any of you,
