And he left there and met Yehonaḏaḇ son of Rĕḵaḇ, coming to meet him, and blessed him and said to him, “Is your heart right, as my heart is toward your heart?” And Yehonaḏaḇ answered, “It is.” Yĕhu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” And he gave him his hand, and he took him up to him into the chariot.

And Laḇan rose up early in the morning, and kissed his sons and daughters and blessed them. And Laḇan left and returned to his place.


And Ya‛aqoḇ blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.


And Yosĕph brought in his father Ya‛aqoḇ and set him before Pharaoh. And Ya‛aqoḇ blessed Pharaoh.

And the clans of the scribes who dwelt at Yaḇĕts: the Tirathites, the Shim‛athites, the Suḵathites. These were the Qĕynites who came from Ḥammath, the father of the house of Rĕḵaḇ.


And they gave their hand in pledge to put away their wives. And being guilty, they presented a ram of the flock for their guilt.


And the Dung Gate was strengthened by Malkiyah son of Rĕḵaḇ, ruler of the district of Bĕyth Hakkerem. He built it and set up its doors, its bolts and bars.


Who would rise up for me against evil-doers? Who would stand up for me against workers of wickedness?


“Go to the house of the Rĕḵaḇites. And you shall speak to them, and bring them into the House of יהוה, into one of the rooms, and give them wine to drink.”


And he despised the oath by breaking the covenant. And see, he has given his hand and he has done all this, he is not going to escape.’ ”


And he said, “How am I able, unless someone guides me?” And he called Philip near, to come up and sit with him.


So when Ya‛aqoḇ, Kĕpha, and Yoḥanan, who seemed to be supports, came to know the favour that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnaḇa the right hand of fellowship, in order that we go to the nations and they to the circumcised,


Brothers, I beg you to become as I am, because I am as you are. You did not wrong me at all.
