For the sovereign had ships of Tarshish at sea with the fleet of Ḥiram. Once every three years the ships of Tarshish came bringing gold, and silver, ivory, and apes, and baboons.


Yehoshaphat made Tarshish ships to go to Ophir for gold. However, they did not go, for the ships were wrecked at Etsyon Geḇer.


Then Aḥazyahu son of Aḥaḇ said to Yehoshaphat, “Let my servants go with your servants in the ships.” But Yehoshaphat would not.


He built Ěylath and restored it to Yehuḏah, after the sovereign slept with his fathers.


She shall be as the ships of Tarshish, She brings in her food from afar.


And they departed from Aḇronah and camped at Etsyon Geḇer.


“And when we passed beyond our brothers, the descendants of Ěsaw who dwell in Sĕ‛ir, away from the way of the desert plain, away from Ěylath and Etsyon Geḇer, we turned and passed over by way of the Wilderness of Mo’aḇ.
