What is man, that he should be clean? And one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?


So how could man be righteous before Ěl? Or how could he be flawless who is born of a woman?


My righteousness I hold fast, and I do not let it go. My heart does not reproach me as long as I live.


“See, I am insignificant, what would I answer You? I lay my hand over my mouth.


If I am righteous? My mouth would declare me wrong. Am I perfect? It would declare me perverse.


O Yah, if You should watch crookednesses, O יהוה, who would stand?


And do not enter into right-ruling with Your servant, For before You no one living is in the right.


Who discerns mistakes? Declare me innocent from those that are secret,


My foot shall stand on a level place; In the assemblies I bless יהוה.


Then the heavens declared His righteousness, For Elohim Himself is Judge. Selah.


All a man’s ways are right in his own eyes, But יהוה weighs the hearts.


Many seek the face of a ruler, But right-ruling for man comes from יהוה.


He said to him the third time, “Shim‛on, son of Yonah, do you love Me?” Kĕpha was sad because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Master, You know all, You know that I love You.” יהושע said to him, “Feed My sheep.


And Sha’ul, looking intently at the council, said, “Men, brothers, I have lived in all good conscience before Elohim until this day.”


For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the Torah shall be declared right.


For if Aḇraham was declared right by works, he has ground for boasting, but not before Elohim.


But with me it is a small matter that I should be judged by you or by a man’s court. But not even myself I judge.


So do not judge any at all before the time, until the Master comes, who shall bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the thoughts of the hearts. And then each one’s praise shall come from Elohim.


For our boasting is this: the witness of our conscience that we behaved ourselves in the world in simplicity and sincerity of Elohim, not in fleshly wisdom but in the favour of Elohim, and much more toward you.


For we all have to appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, in order for each one to receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
