16 But I will sing of thy power; Yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: For thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, My saviour; thou savest me from violence.


He wandereth abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? He knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.


Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: He is excellent in power, and in judgment, And in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.


I will sing of mercy and judgment: Unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.


Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, That he might make his mighty power to be known.


Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.


Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.


They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, And talk of thy power;


Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: So will we sing and praise thy power.


For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.


I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: For thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;


Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; And thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.


Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.


God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.


My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.


In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My sore ran in the night, and ceased not: My soul refused to be comforted.


For great is thy mercy toward me: And thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell.


But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; And in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.


I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: With my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.


Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: Thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.


Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.


and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, And sing unto thy name.


who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;


Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,


Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;


David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
