A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: He will guide his affairs with discretion.


He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: But he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.


A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: And the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.


Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: So he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.


He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread: But he that followeth after vain persons shall have poverty enough.


Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.


and the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer's neck there in the valley:
