And the king made silver to be in Jerusalem as stones, and cedars made he to be as the sycomore trees that are in the vale, for abundance.

He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, And the innocent shall divide the silver.


Or with princes that had gold, Who filled their houses with silver:


A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.


For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.


shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!


Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off.


And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up silver as the dust, and fine gold as the mire of the streets.


Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:


Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
