Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.


A little that a righteous man hath is better Than the riches of many wicked.


For the LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.


And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.


Better is little with the fear of the LORD Than great treasure and trouble therewith.


Better is a little with righteousness Than great revenues without right.


He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: But he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.


nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:


And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.


And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.


And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.


For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;


For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.


For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.


And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.


Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
