For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.


“As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”


Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving might of his right hand.


you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions;


“I relieved your shoulder of the burden; your hands were freed from the basket.


Behold our shield, O God; look on the face of your anointed!


that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and on my mountains trample him underfoot; and his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden from their shoulder.”
