Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them,


Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh will not listen to you, that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.”


And on that very day the Lord brought the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.


Then Moses said to the people, “Remember this day in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of slavery, for by a strong hand the Lord brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten.


And it shall be to you as a sign on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth. For with a strong hand the Lord has brought you out of Egypt.


Then Moses told his father-in-law all that the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, all the hardship that had come upon them in the way, and how the Lord had delivered them.


But I know that the king of Egypt will not let you go unless compelled by a mighty hand.


So I will stretch out my hand and strike Egypt with all the wonders that I will do in it; after that he will let you go.


But the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he will send them out, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.”


These are the Aaron and Moses to whom the Lord said: “Bring out the people of Israel from the land of Egypt by their hosts.”


Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgment.


Still Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


And you shall say to him, ‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness.” But so far, you have not obeyed.


But when Pharaoh saw that there was a respite, he hardened his heart and would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.


But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had spoken to Moses.


behold, the hand of the Lord will fall with a very severe plague upon your livestock that are in the field, the horses, the donkeys, the camels, the herds, and the flocks.


Condemnation is ready for scoffers, and beating for the backs of fools.


My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.


surely against me he turns his hand again and again the whole day long.


“For thus says the Lord God: How much more when I send upon Jerusalem my four disastrous acts of judgment, sword, famine, wild beasts, and pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast!


and I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord.


I will make Pathros a desolation and will set fire to Zoan and will execute judgments on Thebes.


Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”


Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”


And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God the Almighty, true and just are your judgments!”


for his judgments are true and just; for he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”


Whenever they marched out, the hand of the Lord was against them for harm, as the Lord had warned, and as the Lord had sworn to them. And they were in terrible distress.
