For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice.


As David also termeth the blessedness of a man, to whom God reputeth justice without works:


And may be found in him, not having my justice, which is of the law, but that which is of the faith of Christ Jesus, which is of God, justice in faith:


And he spoke thus to the people: Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: Your fathers dwelt of old on the other side of the river: Thare the father of Abraham, and Nachor. And they served strange gods.
