And he took his ring from his own hand, and gave it into his hand: and he put upon him a robe of silk, and put a chain of gold about his neck.


That grace may be added to thy head, and a chain of gold to thy neck.


Envy not the unjust man, and do not follow his ways:


They eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of iniquity.


For because sentence is not speedily pronounced against the evil, the children of men commit evils without any fear.


Thou hast wounded my heart, my sister, my spouse, thou hast wounded my heart with one of thy eyes, and with one hair of thy neck.


And chains, and necklaces, and bracelets, and bonnets:


Moab hath been fruitful from his youth and hath rested upon his lees: and hath not been poured out from vessel to vessel, nor hath gone into captivity. Therefore his taste hath remained in him and his scent is not changed.


We have heard the pride of Moab, he is exceeding proud: his haughtiness and his arrogancy and his pride and the loftiness of his heart.


I decked thee also with ornaments and put bracelets on thy hands and a chain about thy neck.


Thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that make my people err: that bite with their teeth, and preach peace: and if a man give not something into their mouth, they prepare war against him.


The beloved grew fat, and kicked: he grew fat, and thick and gross. He forsook God who made him: and departed from God his saviour.


In like manner, ye young men, be subject to the ancients. And do you all insinuate humility one to another, for God resisteth the proud, but to the humble he giveth grace.


And the weight of the earlets that he requested was a thousand seven hundred sicles of gold, besides the ornaments, and jewels, and purple raiment which the kings of Madian were wont to use, and besides the golden chains that were about the camels' necks.
