Neither did he himself know any thing, having committed all things to him: for the Lord was with him, and made all that he did to prosper.


Who knew very well that the Lord was with him, and made all that he did to prosper in his hand.


Wherefore the Lord also was with him: and in all things, to which he went forth, he behaved himself wisely. And he rebelled against the king of the Assyrians, and served him not.


Now then, my son, the Lord be with thee: and do thou prosper, and build the house to the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken of thee.


For then thou shalt be able to prosper, if thou keep the commandments and judgments, which the Lord commanded Moses to teach Israel. Take courage and act manfully: fear not, nor be dismayed.


In all the service of the ministry of the house of the Lord according to the law and the ceremonies, desiring to seek his God with all his heart. And he did it and prospered.


Many also brought victims, and sacrifices to the Lord to Jerusalem, and presents to Ezechias king of Juda. And he was magnified thenceforth in the sight of all nations.


At the scent of water, it shall spring, and bring forth leaves, as when it was first planted.


Thou shalt decree a thing, and it I shall come to thee: and light shall shine in thy ways.


Often have they fought against me from my youth: but they could not prevail over me.


And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.


Its harvest shall be destroyed with drought, women shall come and teach it: for it is not a wise people. Therefore he that made it shall not have mercy on it: and he that formed it shall not spare it.

And the Lord will give thee rest continually and will fill thy soul with brightness and deliver thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden and like a fountain of water whose waters shall not fail


And he shall be as a tree that is planted by the waters, that spreadeth out its roots towards moisture: and it shall not fear when the heat cometh. And the leaf thereof shall be green, and in the time of drought it shall not be solicitous: neither shall it cease at any time to bring forth fruit.


It was planted in a good ground upon many waters, that it might bring forth branches and bear fruit, that it might become a large vine.


Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood planted by the water: her fruit and her branches have grown out of many waters.


Therefore was his height exalted above all the trees of the country: and his branches were multiplied, and his boughs were elevated because of many waters.


And by the torrent on the banks thereof on both sides shall grow all trees that bear fruit: their leaf shall not fall off, and their fruit shall not fail: every month shall they bring forth firstfruits, because the waters thereof shall issue out of the sanctuary: and the fruits thereof shall be for food, and the leaves thereof for medicine.


As woody valleys: as watered gardens near the rivers: as tabernacles which the Lord hath pitched: as cedars by the waterside.


And when the sun was up they were scorched: and because they had not root, they withered away.


And seeing a certain fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only, and he saith to it: May no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.


And when the time of the fruits drew nigh, he sent his servants to the husbandmen that they might receive the fruits thereof.


They say to him: He will bring those evil men to an evil end; and will let out his vineyard to other husbandmen, that shall render him the fruit in due season.


If any one abide not in me, he shall be cast forth as a branch, and shall wither, and they shall gather him up, and cast him into the fire, and he burneth.


The Lord will send forth a blessing upon thy storehouses, and upon all the works of thy hands: and will bless thee in the land that thou shalt receive.


These are spots in their banquets, feasting together without fear, feeding themselves, clouds without water, which are carried about by winds, trees of the autumn, unfruitful, twice dead, plucked up by the roots,


In the midst of the street thereof, and on both sides of the river, was the tree of life, bearing twelve fruits, yielding its fruits every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
