The son of a widow woman of the tribe of Nephtali, whose father was a Tyrian, an artificer in brass, and full of wisdom, and understanding, and skill to work all work in brass. And when he was come to king Solomon, he wrought all his work.


As also of all the courts, which he had in his thought, and of the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of the Lord, and for the treasures of the consecrated things:


All these things, said he, came to me written by the hand of the Lord, that I might understand all the works of the pattern.


And when Juda looked back, they saw the battle coming upon them both before and behind, and they cried to the Lord: and the priests began to sound with the trumpets.


And he increased his people exceedingly: and strengthened them over their enemies,


And Moses said to the children of Israel: Behold the Lord hath called by name Beseleel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur of the tribe of Juda.


To give subtilty to little ones, to the young man knowledge and understanding.


O little ones, understand subtilty, and ye unwise, take notice.


For he will instruct him in judgment: his God will teach him.


O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!


In whom we also are called by lot, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things according to the counsel of his will.


Which hath superabounded in us in all wisdom and prudence,


That the manifold wisdom of God may be made known to the principalities and powers in heavenly places through the church,


In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
