Proverbs 11:24
19 交叉引用

Azarias the chief priest of the race of Sadoc answered him, saying: Since the first-fruits began to be offered in the house of the Lord, we have eaten, and have been filled, and abundance is left, because the Lord hath blessed his people: and of that which is left is this great store which thou seest.

Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.

The wicked maketh an unsteady work: but to him that soweth justice, there is a faithful reward.

The desire of the just is all good: the expectation of the wicked is indignation.

The soul which blesseth, shall be made fat: and he that inebriateth, shall be inebriated also himself.

One is as it were rich, when he hath nothing: and another is as it were poor, when he hath great riches.

He that hath mercy on the poor, lendeth to the Lord: and he will repay him.

He that giveth to the poor, shall not want: he that despiseth his entreaty, shall suffer indigence.

He that heapeth together riches by usury and loan, gathereth them for him that will be bountiful to the poor.

In the morning sow thy seed, and In the evening let not thy hand cease: for thou knowest not which may rather spring up, this or that: and if both together, it shall be the better.

You have sowed much, and brought in little: you have eaten, but have not had enough: you have drunk, but have not been filled with drink: you have clothed yourselves, but have not been warmed: and he that hath earned wages, put them into a bag with holes.

Shall a man afflict God? for you afflict me. And you have said: Wherein do we afflict thee? in tithes and in firstfruits.

Give, and it shall be given to you: good measure and pressed down and shaken together and running over shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.

But thou shalt give to him. Neither shalt thou do any thing craftily in relieving his necessities: that the Lord thy God may bless thee at all times, and in all things to which thou shalt put thy hand.
