And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and magnify thy name: and thou shalt be blessed.


And he was very rich in possession of gold and silver.


That from the very woof thread unto the shoe latchet, I will not take of any things that are thine, lest thou say: I have enriched Abram.


And the Lord hath blessed my master wonderfully, and he is become great: and he hath given him sheep and oxen, silver and gold, men-servants and women-servants, camels and asses.


And Isaac sowed in that land, and he found that same year a hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.


And the man was enriched, and he went on prospering and increasing, till he became exceeding great.


And thou shalt speak to him, saying: Thus saith the Lord: Thou hast slain. Moreover also thou hast taken possession. And after these words thou shalt add: Thus saith the Lord: In this place, wherein the dogs have licked the blood of Naboth, they shall lick thy blood also.


And Jabes called upon the God of Israel, saying: If blessing thou wilt bless me, and wilt enlarge my borders, and thy hand be with me, and thou save me from being oppressed by evil. And God granted him the things he prayed for.


And Amasias said to the man of God: What will then become of the hundred talents which I have given to the soldiers of Israel? And the man of God answered him: The Lord is rich enough to be able to give thee much more than this.


And Ezechias was rich, and very glorious; and he gathered himself great treasures of silver and of gold, and of precious stones, of spices, and of arms of all kinds, and of vessels of great price.


And he built himself cities. For he had flocks of sheep, and herds without number: for the Lord had given him very much substance.


For thou shalt eat the labours of thy hands: blessed art thou, and it shall be well with thee.


Forsake me not, O Lord my God: do not thou depart from me.


The crown of the wise is their riches: the folly of fools, imprudence.


The inheritance gotten hastily in the beginning, in the end shall be without a blessing.


A man, that maketh haste to be rich, and envieth others, is ignorant that poverty shall come upon him.


That I may enrich them that love me, and may fill their treasures.


I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts: and it shall come to the house of the thief, and to the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with the timber thereof, and the stones thereof.


And therefore now I offer the first-fruits of the land which the Lord hath given me. And thou shalt leave them in the sight of the Lord thy God, adoring the Lord thy God.


The Lord will make thee abound with all goods, with the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy cattle, with the fruit of thy land, which the Lord swore to thy fathers that he would give thee.


But beware ye lest you touch ought of those things that are forbidden, and you be guilty of transgression: and all the camp of Israel be under sin, and be troubled.
