And the angel of God, who went before the camp of Israel, removing, went behind them: and together with him the pillar of the cloud, leaving the forepart,


Behold, I will send my angel, who shall go before thee, and keep thee in thy journey: and bring thee into the place that I have prepared.


And I will send an angel before thee, that I may cast out the Chanaanite, and the Amorrhite, and the Hethite, and the Pherezite, and the Hevite, and the Jebusite.


I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, wherewith the Egyptians have oppressed them: and I have remembered my covenant.


In what manner our fathers went down into Egypt, and there we dwelt a long time, and the Egyptians afflicted us and our fathers.


I beseech thee that I may have leave to pass through thy land. We will not go aside into the fields or the vineyards, we will not drink waters of the wells, we will go the king's highway, till we be past thy borders.


And departing from Cades, they camped in mount Hor, in the uttermost borders of the land of Edom.


If God ever did so as to go, and take to himself a nation out of the midst of nations by temptations, signs, and wonders, by fight, and a strong hand, and stretched-out arm, and horrible visions according to all the things that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt, before thy eyes.


Because he loved thy fathers, and chose their seed after them. And he brought thee out of Egypt, going before thee with his great power,


Now the lot of the children of Juda by their kindreds was this: From the frontier of Edom, to the desert of Sin southward, and to the uttermost part of the south coast.
